Al Jarreau On The Road To Recovery

Last Friday, Al Jarreau was experiencing some breathings problems during his visit to the Alps.  The 70 year old musician was hospitalized, which also resulted in the cancellation of several performances. 

Jarreau was transported to the La Timone Hospital in Marselle, by helicopter the next day.  Chief cardiologist, R. Jean-Louis Bonnet commented, “everything’s going well… [Jarreau's] state of health is coming along quite normally.”

Bonnet revealed that he many be discharged this weekend.  Currently Jarreau had been touring in Europe.  According to his official website, he has plans to continue his current European Tour beginning August 3rd in Hanau, Germany.  All dates following will go on as originally scheduled.

Unfortunately, he has to announce the cancellation of three more dates, by doctor request.

July 29: Nuremberg, Germany
July 30: Gleisdorf, Austria
July 31: Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia
